Now in our 11th year of supporting music, TD has invested more than $60 million in festivals from coast-to-coast, including prominent annual productions in Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Halifax.


TD believes in the power of music, and in the importance of bringing live music to communities across Canada. From the small stages to the JUNO Awards, we’re there, supporting music projects that entertain, educate and innovate.


Now in our 11th year of supporting music, TD has invested more than $60 million in festivals from coast-to-coast, including prominent annual productions in Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Halifax.


In 2013 alone, more than 3,000,000 music fans attended the 1,950 performances at these festivals. More than 8,650 artists performed on the festival stages, with 5,000-plus volunteers coming together to contribute over 123,600 hours of their time.

TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival: June 12 – 22 

Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, the TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival kicks off festival season by presenting nearly 100 local, national and international artists who represent all from the roots to the cutting edge of jazz, blues, hip-hop, and beyond.

TD Toronto Jazz Festival: June 19 – 28

Serving the Jazz Community since 1987, the TD Toronto Jazz Festival marks 28 years with more than 350 performances, featuring over 1,500 musicians, held at nearly 50 different locations across the city. Half a million music lovers are expected to attend. 

TD Victoria International JazzFest
: June 20 – 29 

30 years young as of this edition, the TD Victoria International JazzFest has become Victoria and Vancouver Island’s longest running and largest multi-day professional music festival. It begins its third decade by presenting over 320 musicians from around the world. 

SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival: June 20 – 29

Having debuted in 1987, the SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival is now the second largest of its kind in Western Canada. International in focus, the festival presents jazz music in its diverse forms, bringing the sounds of jazz, blues, funk, pop, and world music to more than 85,000 fans each year.

TD Ottawa International Jazz Festival: June 20 – July 1 

The 34th edition of the TD Ottawa International Jazz Festival presents more than 110 concerts in our nation’s capital. Over the course of 12 days, over 100 artists will bring funk, jazz, blues, indie, pop, and even a Bollywood Hits Extravaganza to multiple stages.

TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival: June 20 – July 1 

British Columbia's largest music and arts event, the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival turns 29 this year. Known to embrace a broad spectrum of jazz, blues, world, creative, and improvised music, this edition of the festival also offers more than 150 free performances for music lovers.

Festival International de Jazz de Montréal: June 26 – July 6 

Though it attracts more than two million attendees and is among the world’s largest jazz festivals, the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal maintains an intimate feel. It boasts a long and storied history, and will present more than 1,000 widely varied concerts – over two-thirds of them free and outdoors – at this 35th edition.

TD Halifax Jazz Festival: July 4 – 12 

Formerly known as the Atlantic Jazz Festival, the TD Halifax Jazz Festival is the oldest jazz festival and largest summer festival in Atlantic Canada. Jazz is at the heart of this nine-night fest, with roots, blues, Latin, R&B, and world music also enjoyed by more than 55,000 visitors.

Calgary Folk Music Festival: July 24 – 27 

An annual four-day, family-friendly outdoor festival devoted to roots music and community, the Calgary Folk Music Festival attracts over 50,000 Calgarians and tourists. More than 70 artists from 14 countries will be featured on the seven stages of this 35th Anniversary edition, with a curatorial focus on Aboriginal artists from Canada, the US and Australia.
