A city is made great by its people. In return, the city gives its people what it takes to be great.
You don’t have to be born – or even live – in Toronto to relate to #TorontoMade. Toronto Made is for all those who have been touched by the city, who have found inspiration or opportunity there, and who love the new discoveries it offers around every corner. Music for example.
There are unique, exciting musicians to be uncovered in every part of the city. This is why TD Music Fridays showcase #TorontoMade talent at Union Station, Canada’s busiest transportation hub and an ideal location for new discoveries.
TD Music Fridays kicked off on October 7th and continue through to December 9th. Each week, from 4:30 to 6:30pm, a selection of artists who have found their inspiration, stories or sounds in Toronto share their music on intimate stages inside Union.
So far, musicians including Alysha Brilla, Command Sisters, pHoenix Pagliacci, Jordan Alexander, Bruno Capinan and Kink have entertained people moving through Union Station as part of their journeys.
Coming up, performers like Tanika Charles, one of Canada’s most talked-about young soul singers, vocalists Denise Deion
and Dynesti, and soulful rapper Xolisa
will perform. Visit our TD Music Fridays event page
for updated programming information as each week features different artists, sounds and creative community members.
