The ON: video series is a collection of exclusive interviews that feature an array of artists who each share their thoughts “on” a specific subject. Get up close and personal as we introduce you to some incredible talents and their take on a variety of topics.

Early this summer, the inaugural TD music café took place in downtown Toronto, outside of the iconic Roy Thomson Hall. This free pop-up concert treated music lovers to a wide range of sounds as artists both established and emerging took to the stage. They also took the time to speak with us following their sets.

Performers included alumni of Honey Jam Canada, an all-female multicultural, multi-genre showcase of Canadian talent produced by non-profit organization PhemPhat Entertainment, which also provides educational and mentoring opportunities for artists. TD is pleased to support the Honey Jam Canada Concert, and PhemPhat’s work to create expanded opportunities for female musicians.

Here, four artists who have received support from PhemPhat and performed at Honey Jam - multi-talented and musically diverse singer-songwriters Melissa Bel, Jordan Alexander, Saveria, and Chelsea Stewart – discuss the topics of Gaining Confidence as performers, and the Importance of Honey Jam itself.
