Comfortably situated in Edmonton’s Gallagher Park, right in the centre of Edmonton, Edmonton’s Folk Music Festival is an eagerly anticipated summer event. The festival hosts 100,000 music lovers every year. Enjoy the natural amphitheatre and choose from 65 to 70 local, national and international acts playing on six daytime stages and the mainstage, with a wide range of musical styles including blues, Celtic, singer-songwriters, bluegrass, gospel and world music. The festival is family friendly, operated and overseen by over 2200 volunteers. Let your kids enjoy the 'Family Area' which features participatory activities such as face painting and t-shirt dying.
Last summer, the TD Community Tour made its debut, visiting communities across Canada at an incredible range of music festivals and community events. This summer, the tour is stopping at Edmonton's Folk Music Festival, with even more to offer.
This year, festival goers are invited to come by and create your own custom TD Access Pass. Not only is the Pass a fun photo memento, it’s a key to potentially unlock the grand prize of $5,000. There’s also a whole host of instant prizes, including cash toward concerts to add more music to your summer.
