Jazz and music lovers have much to look forward to in 2015. The Ottawa Jazz Festival will present the 4th TD Winter Jazz Festival this February over two weekends from Feb. 6–7 and Feb. 13–15.

The first weekend features a remarkable array of Canadian and international jazz heavyweights. Feb. 6-7 highlights includes Zimbabwe’s legendary Oliver Mtukudzi and the Black Spirits (in honour of Black History Month), the Charlie Hunter Trio, Jean-Michel Pilc Trio and the Matt Wilson Quartet.

The second weekend (Feb. 13-15) showcases unique projects and collaborations with a consummate gathering of remarkable jazz artistry from a tribute to Kenny Wheeler to the heavenly vocals and creative arrangements of The Lost Fingers- a Canadian gypsy jazz quartet.

Looking for that unique Valentine’s Day experience? Small Shows in Sacred Spaces features five heavyweight artists like Martha Wainwright, Scott Helman, Jay Malinowski & the Deadcoast, and Reuben and the Dark in their own unique shows throughout various smaller spaces inside Dominion-Chalmers United Church. Later that evening inside the Sanctuary each artist will perform 3 songs in one breathtaking musical tribute to Canadian legend singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen’s 80th birthday!

Join us at ARC The.Hotel for Late Night Jamming Feb 6, 7, 13 & 14 from 10:30pm - 1am.

The complete schedule and single tickets are available at www.ottawajazzfestival.com/winter or at the Festival office, 602-294 Albert St. during regular office hours.
