TD Bank is now in its 11th year of supporting live music across Canada. From the small stages to the big awards, we’re there, supporting music projects that include more than 60 music festivals nationwide, the Live Nation Canada Concert Series, the JUNO Awards, and MusiCounts, a community organization that provides underprivileged youth access to music education.

We recently celebrated the launch of TD’s 2014 Summer Music Season with a special pop-up concert event in Toronto, entitled the TD music café. On Saturday June 21, as part of the opening celebrations for our new branch in the West Edmonton Mall, TD brings this experience to the Edmonton community with its second TD music café.

From 10am – 7pm, the TD music café shines a spotlight on rising local artists, presenting live performances on the HMV Stage in the West Edmonton Mall. Join us to enjoy live music, free Wi-Fi, and a soda. While there, fill out a ballot for your chance to win $1,000 towards a music experience of your choice.

Appearing at the TD music café on June 21 will be:

Talia Perez: A talented multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Talia writes and performs soulful, piano based melodies.

Olivia Wik: Olivia is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter who is quickly making a name for herself with a unique and modern country sound.

Braden Gates: This singer-songwriter and folk musician writes sweet, honest stories and songs, as heard on his album, Break It to Me Gently.

Alex Vissia: Raised in the prairies and now based in Edmonton, Alex released A Lot Less Gold, her debut album of soulful, sultry folk-alt originals, in 2011 and can frequently be found on festival stages.

Kayla Patrick: Writing and performing music from a very young age, Kayla is an alternative singer-songwriter rooted in country.

Six Day March: This upbeat pop-rock band consists of Luke Martino and his twin brother Noah, alongside Connell Stinnissen and Austin Affleck, four friends who met in fifth grade.

Lucas Chaisson
: Known for his creative, rootsy spin on pop tunes, this soulful 19-year-old singer-songwriter performs folk, roots, blues and country originals.

Ten Minute Detour: This four-man band comes heavy with an indie garage rock sound influenced by classic rock and the warmth of tube amps.

TD is proud to support music in the community. We invite you to enjoy this day of free live music, and support homegrown talent with us at the TD music café Edmonton!
