The TD PEI Jazz and Blues Festival features artists from across Canada performing a rousing series of affordable ticketed concerts as well as free concerts and workshops in historic downtown Charlottetown. Concerts take place in a variety of locations, from the big tent on the waterfront to an historic church and intimate clubs in the shadow of Province House, the birthplace of Confederation. Listeners will be treated to the best in jazz and blues, in addition to a wide variety of other musical styles including soul, R&B, Latin, Indie pop and rock. Now in its 11th year, the TD PEI Jazz & Blues Festival has presented some of the finest musicians in the country including David Clayton Thomas, Holly Cole, Joel Plaskett, Downchild Blues Band, Dionne Taylor, Guido Basso, Oliver Jones, Jackie Richardson, Ron Sexsmith, Alain Caron and the late Rob McConnell and Doug Riley.
