2015 is a momentous year for the TD Ottawa Jazz Festival as it prepares to present the 35th edition from June 18 – July 1, 2015 in the heart of downtown Ottawa at Confederation Park. There’s something for everyone at this year’s Festival from jazz royalty like Branford Marsalis, The Stanley Clarke Band, Kenny Werner and Renee Rosnes, to avant garde hipsters like the Soul Rebels, Moon Hooch and Jaga Jazzist.

Headlining artists appearing include The Roots, GRAMMY award winning trumpet player Chris Botti, Huey Lewis and The News, the Steve Miller Band, Snarky Puppy and the ever explosive keyboard wiz Jamie Cullum.

Dynamic programming and unique international collaborations highlight to this year’s lineup. South Africa NOW is a celebration of five groups from South Africa and their contribution to jazz including legendary drummer Louis Moholo-Moholo and revered pianist Abdullah Ibrahim.

In honour of the European Union’s partnership with Canada, Spotlight on Euro Jazz will feature 20 concerts throughout the Festival from 15 European countries with an outstanding array of significant European jazz artists.  

With shows taking place from noon to the wee hours of the morning at Late Night Jamming, there’s an endless selection of stellar music to keep the most stalwart of music aficionados going.
