Presented in partnership with the Greater Sudbury Public Library, the SSO presents this unique free series that combines pictures, storytelling and live music. Bringing favourite tales to life during library storytimes, this program encourages literacy, imagination and a love of music. These engaging presentations take place at various public library branches throughout the year.

Since being introduced in the community in 2011, Tunes and Tales has become the Sudbury Symphony’s most in-demand outreach program. Selected musicians from the Sudbury Symphony choose their favourite stories and create music to bring them to life in a new way, creating a program that combines pictures, storytelling and live music.

Presented in partnership with the Greater Sudbury Public Library during their regular storytime hours, this program encourages literacy, imagination and a love of music. Entering its third season, Tunes and Tales is delighted to continue its partnership with TD to ensure that young people across Sudbury have access to this enriching program
